Mina chose to buy the first purple heart Mini Halwood I made.
After they inquired about and received a replacement my Cyanotypes 1980 poster, Mina and Hide came to the studio to see the Halfwood presses. Mina learned printmaking at the Kirkland Art Center, and had made a studio working space in her home. She bought Mini Halfwood Press No. 23 (the first purple heart model with ebony appointments) and Mariner No. 2. Then they bought two of my artworks, shown below.

The second Mariner I built is now Mina's.
Number two Mariner Halfwood Press is made with mahogany and Ipe. The bed on this press is 12 inches wide, plenty wide for ten-inch wide plates. It weighs slightly over 100 pounds.

"Cyanotypes," the 1982 six-color off
set print Hide bought back then, and which he came to replace in 2005.

"C-Squares Off the Coast of Washington," a working proof, or study, for the woodcut portion of another print.

"Arborescence, Cross and Calculus", a mixed media print from 1997.
