Alison Fujino

Ali Fujino's Mini Halfwood Press, shown with its box. You can see the little book, Press Maker's Notes, in the image below.

Ali directs the Drachen Foundation kite museum near the Mini Art Gallery, and saw the Mini Halfwood presses in the window. She wanted to have one for her use and also for the museum outreach program. Her friends found the press appealing, and she initiated Scott Skinner’s purchase of Galleon #2. At left is Ali's press, Number 51.

On YouTube you can see all twelve pages of the Halfwood Calendar, and you can buy it:

As a 2009 owner, her press is among the twelve in the 2010 Halfwood Calendar. I put all twelve pages on the Halfwood Press Website and all the information you need to decide to add this special calendar to your collection. It's a keeper! Click here.

On the day Ali visited the Mini Art Gallery, she bought one of my miniature prints, Target Stamp, for her art collection.

Target Stamp, etching on copper, about 1968.
