Sylvia Dillon

Sylvia knew I was doing demonstrations at Daniel Smith, but flu kept her home, so we arranged for a studio visit. She came with another former student and ordered her press. We talked about chine collé on silk, as she loves working in these. You can see in the picture she chose to get a brass bed for her Mini, Number 46.

I put all twelve pages on the Halfwood Press Website and all the information you need to decide to add this special calendar to your collection. It's a keeper! Click here.

Sylvia's press was among the twelve I included in the Halfwood Press 2010 calendar. You can get one using PayPal.

Sylvia also added my print, "Matilda," to her art collection. It is a miniature, 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches--the same size as the blank test plates I included with Mini Halfwood presses.

We saw each other at an art teacher's conference in Tukwila, Washington (right).

I was demonstrating at ArtsTime, 2009.
