Baker University

Walt Bailey invited Bill to bring his Halfwood press and his Printmaking Roadshow to Baker University, and following that Lee Mann ordered No. 37 for the printmaking department.

At left a Baker University student is trying her hand at printing with Bill's Mini Halfwood when he gave a workshopt there in 2008.

During the four days I was at Baker U, I was with art students for two sessions. In this snapshot you see Lee Mann, head of the art department and printmaking professor, trying her hand with my Mini Halfwood Press in her class.

Lynda took a snapshot of me with my Printmaking Roadshow cart in tow. I'm standing in front of their flagship building, Parmentor Hall. The University was in its 150th Year, and I made a special medallion for the Mini Halfwood Press to commemorate this.
