Pat Austin met Bill Ritchie in the 1970s when they both were teaching college. She introducted Bill to Alaska--her home--and many artists. Over the years they maintained contact, and some years after she moved to Washington State she ordered Mini Halfwood Press #73.Pat was intrigued by the idea of having purple heart in her press, and advanced an extra deposit for this feature. |
